Do you still offer 1:1 coaching sessions and packages?
Effective January 1, 2019 I will no longer be providing a la carte nutrition coaching sessions or packages.
Why did you switch to a monthly membership?
I switched for a few different reasons:
I felt like many clients weren’t sure how long they would want to/need to work with a dietitian before they accomplished their goals and this made it challenging to choose a long-term package. On the other hand, it takes time to make a behavior change and single sessions don’t seem to be as effective. This model allows clients to continue as long as it’s still helpful, then cancel at any time without any penalties or fees.
I really enjoy working with groups and have always envisioned building a community so members can communicate with one another while also getting the benefit of one-on-one coaching. This system is a nice hybrid of those two things.
This option caters to a variety of learning styles so the client can ultimately choose based on the level of support that best meets his/her needs.
How do the coaching sessions work?
All one-on-one nutrition coaching sessions will still be held virtually, using a secure online video chat platform.
What types of resources will I find in the resource library?
The resource library is a compilation of all of the materials I’ve created (and will continue to build upon) for clients and group presentations. Some are activity-based (such as goal setting worksheets) and some are educational (such as “how to build a healthy snack” or short cooking videos). Members will have the opportunity to request specific resources as well.
What if I change my mind after I sign up?
If you decide that this model isn’t the best fit for you, I’ll offer a full refund within the first 3 days of sign-up, no questions asked. Once this 3-day window has passed, you will have the option to cancel your account (effective the following month) and take advantage of all benefits for the remainder of the month.
